I couldn't get enough of the stunning views from my room overlooking the terraces below, capturing the magic of Lake Como even during a midnight storm. The room was roomy and comfortable, but the balcony could have been a bit bigger. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff always anticipating my needs. The location was perfect for enjoying a drink while watching the sunset and exploring the quiet beauty of the area. The dining experience with incredible views was a highlight, although the homemade jams were a bit of a letdown. Overall, a beautiful stay with great amenities, but a few tiny drawbacks.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Du Lac! The location was just perfect, right on Lake Como with stunning views, and it's a short walk to the harbour and the church square. The rooms, especially the supreme lake view room with terrace, were amazing, clean, and comfortable. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist. The dining experience on the outdoor terrace with fantastic views was fantastic, even though there could be some improvement in the variety of dishes. Overall, a great value for a memorable experience in Varenna.
